A. Q1:
DED's inspectors visit the activity location to assure site adequacy to the conditions. It is preferable not to sign a contract with the owner before an initial permit.

Licenses renewal Documents required for all kinds of license renewals
- License application form
- Original license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce
- Lease contract in case the license owner is renting the location
- Renewal of the service agent or the partnership in case it has expired

- License application form
- Original license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce

Documents required for the addition/ withdrawal of a partner for all legal forms of companies
- License application form
- Trade license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce
- Photocopy of the passport and the family record of the new partner/ partners - Approval of the other government parties on the addition of the new partner/partners if required
- Share renouncement contract authenticated by the Notary public
- Supplemental foundation contract for the withdrawal/addition of the partner/ partners authenticated by the Notary public

Documents required for renouncement of the license
- License application form
- Original license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce
- Photocopy of the passport and the family record for the recipient national
- Lease contract in the name of the recipient for the period of the license
- Advertisement in one of the newspapers for a period of weeks
- Partnership contract or services agent contract authenticated by the Notary public if required
- Any new requirements that might arise later

Documents required for an inheritance announcement
- License application form
- Original license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce
- Death certificate
- Heritage assessment authenticated by the court Power of attorney in the name of the heirs authenticated by the Notary public
- Partnership contract or services agent contract authenticated by the Notary public
- A copy of the guardian appointment from the court in case some of the heirs were minors
- Copies of the passport and the family record of the heirs’ attorney
- Supplemental foundation contract authenticated by the Notary public in the case of companies or services agent
- Approval of the relevant government parties if required
- Lease contract in case the license owner is renting the location or the flat
- Any new requirements that might arise later.

- License Application form specifying therein the new activity or the activity to be discontinued
- Original license
- The original registration certificate in the commercial record and the original membership certificate in the chamber of commerce
- Decision of the company’s board of directors on changing the activity, for companies
- Approval of the other government parties on the activity in question )if required (change/ addition/ discontinuation
- The work location should be suitable to the activities to be added to the license
- The Supplemental foundation contract indicating the activity change (for all types of companies) in case of change/ addition/ discontinuation of an activity
- Any new requirements that might arise later

- The original capital deposit receipt issued from one of the banks with which the company deals or a report from an accredited auditor
- The Supplemental foundation contract indicating the change in the capital authenticated by the Notary public
- Decision of the Board of Directors on adjusting the capital

- License application form
- Commercial license
- The registration certificate in the commercial record + the membership certificate in the Chamber of Commerce (both originals Approval of the Labor Department)
